Meet Vicki
Counselling that meets you where you are.
I’m Vicki, an accredited counsellor and psychotherapist with more than 10 years’ experience supporting adolescents and adults through anxiety, trauma, depression, relationship difficulties, burnout, addiction and life’s challenging transitions.
My approach is warm, practical and tailored to you. Sessions can take place outdoors in nature, in my private counselling room, or online — and if you’d like to include the horses in your sessions, you can.
And just so you know — you don’t need to love horses, know anything about horses, or even meet a horse to come here for counselling. Why choose Inspired Therapies?
Counselling with options — because one setting doesn’t suit everyone.
Everyone’s needs are different, so you can choose the setting that feels right for you.
Counselling in Nature Prefer to be outdoors? Counselling sessions can take place in the natural surroundings of the property, with the option to include the horses if you’d like. No horse experience is needed and there is no riding involved.
Room-Based Counselling Prefer a more traditional setting? Sessions are available in my private, comfortable counselling room here on the property.
Online Counselling For those who prefer the comfort and convenience of their own space, confidential video sessions allow us to connect wherever you are.
Whichever setting you choose, you’ll receive the same professional, evidence-based and personalised support.
NDIS, WorkCover, Victims Assist, eligible private health rebates and private clients welcome.

What to Expect
What happens in a counselling session?
Your sessions are shaped around you. We’ll begin by talking about what’s happening for you, what you’d like support with and what feels most important that day.
Depending on what suits you, your session may take place in my private counselling room, outdoors in nature, or online. If you choose to work outdoors, the horses can also be included — but they don’t have to be.
My approach is warm, practical and trauma-informed. We may use conversation, grounding and regulation strategies, reflection or experiential activities to help you understand what’s happening beneath the surface and find ways forward that feel manageable and meaningful.
There’s no pressure to talk about anything before you’re ready, and you don’t need any experience with horses to come here for counselling.Interested in including the horses?
Equine-assisted sessions are ground-based and may involve simply observing the horses, spending time alongside them, grooming, leading or other therapeutic activities. There is no riding involved, and you choose how much or how little interaction feels right for you.

What you need to know

Testimonials
What our clients say about us?
Inspired Therapies was a perfect introduction to EAP! Vicki provided a safe, supportive environment and guided me in connecting with my emotions through nature and the senses. Working with the horses was a beautiful experience, helping me understand my feelings and energy. I left feeling lighter and clearer and look forward to my next session. Highly recommended!
I had an amazing experience with Vicki at Inspired Therapies. I have had trust and control issues in my past relationships and by working with Vicki and a beautiful horse, Clyde in the arena I was able to let go of my past and feel nurtured, peaceful and supported again. Thankyou Vicki for helping me open up my heart again to feel connection and love.
I have to give this lady credit, Vicki worked with me intensively throughout my harder times and I’m happy to say through her efforts and our sessions my life is on track and I’m living a happy sustainable life . She is amazing in her work . Highly recommend 🙂
My Son, who has an ABI enjoys the therapy with Vickie & the horses. Understanding horse behaviour & relating it to human behaviour, thinking first, consequences, also giving him a chance to speak to someone about his life struggles living with ABI & lessons for Life. So grateful this therapy exists.
